I grew up in Chile in a multicultural context, with a mix of Italian family roots and a British father. I spent most of my life in South America, surrounded by the most beautiful ingredients, colorful fruits and vegetables that beamed like jewels, and the most daring and inventive cook I know, my mother Silvana.
Naturally, I developed a liking for everything food—from visiting farmers' markets and obsessing over ripe figs and bay leaves to cooking five-course dinners for my close friends.
In this section, I will aim to share fleeting thoughts on food, seasonal ingredients, and my favourite things to prepare according to available ingredients and mood.
